Welcome to the GRC Online lobby!
By participating in this Lobby, you acknowledge your acceptance and understanding of the following guidelines. These guidelines apply to all communications made across each page on this website.
We seek your gracious understanding that users who do not abide by these guides may be subject to warnings, bans, or removal without prior notice.
Vision/Mission
GRC Online is a digital church attended by a wide diversity of people based both in the United States and other parts of the world.
Our vision is to create a spiritual, Christ-centered, online community that is anchored on the gospel of grace and united around the person of Jesus.
We seek to be a community that edifies, prays for one another, and encourages each other in the Word of God.
We respect and honor the many differing beliefs represented by the wide diversity of individual attendees who call GRC Online home.
We respectfully request that conversations in the lobby remain focused on 1) the person of Jesus, 2) growing together in grace, and 3) a common, shared vision to build a spiritual community where we agree to leave our differences at the door and remain Christ-centered in our interactions with each other.
Community Guidelines and Rules of Use
All content posted on the Lobby is subject to the guidelines below.
The GRC Online team will review posts and comments on the Lobby and any content that is found to have violated the guidelines will be removed at the moderators’ discretion.
Users who repeatedly violate the Community Guidelines will be subjected to a ban.
Any opinions or recommendations of other Christian ministries and resources shared by members are entirely personal and are by no means endorsed by the ministry.
1. Users should be based in the US or Canada 🇺🇸🇨🇦
2. Be kind and respectful ❤️
We’re in this together to create a welcoming environment for all who enter our digital doors. Though we may have differing views, we seek to treat everyone with respect and kindness.
This includes communicating with language and tone that reflect our values of love, kindness, and grace . Avoid inflammatory or aggressive language that may cause offense or harm to others.
3. Discussions should be Jesus-centered and grace-focused ✝️️
We have created the Lobby to be a safe space where we can take a break from everything that is happening around us and focus on Jesus. For this reason, we want our sharing on this platform to be centered around Jesus, and caring and praying for one another.
We understand that each person will often have differing views on a range of topics and we respect the personal beliefs of every individual represented by our community—from opinions and advice on politics, medical information, legal and financial matters, and many other subjects of discussion.
However, as a community, we agree to leave our differences at the door and not use the Lobby as a platform to voice our opinions and beliefs on subjects that not everyone readily agrees on , as this is not the platform for those conversations.
4. Safeguard your own privacy and the privacy of others
For your own safety, do not publicly disseminate any personally identifiable information such as your email address, home address, phone number, social security number, or credit card information.
Please also exercise discretion and obtain consent before sharing others’ personal stories/testimonies. Publicly released information that may compromise your own or someone else’s safety (such as personal details, private information, photos) will be removed.
5. Reporting violations
If you encounter content that violates our guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable, please report the post or comment to the moderators for review. Let’s work together to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all members.
6. The Lobby space should not be used by GRC Online members to organize online or in-person gatherings
Your safety is of paramount importance to us and we seek to provide a safe environment for everyone who calls GRC Online their church. We also encourage you to exercise wisdom in new relationships as it takes time to build a relationship of trust, and so as to guard against misinformation, scams, and people with ill intent.
For more details on our heart behind this, please check out Digital Care Group #9 .
